The thermal project in Postal is not only one of the largest projects of the last 50 years in our region, it is also unique. Every single detail has been carefully and future-oriented thought out. It is not a simple thermal bath, but a very special place of encounter. Thermal bath visitors and hotel guests should find themselves in spacious rooms surrounded by elements of nature. The central point is the element "water". The structure consists of a clinical area, a wellness area, a hotel and several flexible units. Every visitor can freely decide which area is the right one. These areas can also be used individually and are completely autonomous. Nevertheless, there are common areas which are accessible to every visitor. The aim is to offer the guest, whether old or young, every possible comfort, absolute peace, total relaxation or maximum of fun. The thermal bath of Postal has a theatre with 888 seats, which will be the centre of cultural activities. At the same time this platform will also be used for presentations and exhibitions of new technologies in the field of medicine and industry. All this makes this thermal bath a unique and fantastic place to spend a day or a whole holiday here. In winter guests have also the possibility to use the nearby ski slopes of the Ulten Valley or Merano 2000. In summer many hikes in the surrounding mountains, or extensive bicycle tours can be undertaken.
The entire project is being developed with the aim of being 100% CO2-free and achieving the highest standards in the field of renewable energy and recycling. Every aspect, from construction to operation at full capacity, should be a reference point for similar structures. It is an "active structure" by generating more energy than it consumes. To achieve this goal, photovoltaic energy is used in combination with geothermal energy and the energy of the thermal spring drilling. The thermal spring of Postal is the first large, Co2-free structure in the entire regional area.
Terme Postal is the ultimate example of responsible entrepreneurship. All planning, construction and future administrative processes are evaluated according to the method of the economy of the common good. This is intended to reconcile economic interests with the interests and needs of the people in the surrounding area and the area itself. The responsibility is to consciously use the thermal spring of Postal and to develop a 100% CO2-free structure, which is harmoniously embedded in the landscape by large, natural, green roofs. The thermal spring should not become a foreign body, it should give the people in its surroundings many moments of relaxation for body and soul.
